Learning, Design, Cognition & Pedagogy

Researchers of Learning, Design, Cognition and Pedagogy investigate the impact of human cognitive processes and social practices, and the affordances of technologies on learning with an aim to provide evidence upon which to base educational design and technology integration. The major programs of research focus on how the design of learning affects learning outcomes and cognitive engagement, how information and communication technologies can influence cognition and learning, and how processes and strategies can support design thinking.
